The 700-506 series millivolt gas valve is wall thermostat actuated combination controls which provide installation flexibility from furnaces to swimming pool applications. Standard features include: pilot outlet, pilot gas filter and pilot adjustment key. Uses up to 720,000 BTU.
The control unit of 700-506 combined gas valve combines manual air valve, automatic pilot safety valve and millivolt operator. The automatic pilot safety is decoupled from the gas valve and provides gas shutoff in the event of pilot interruption.
Note: Valve can be installed in any position except inverted.
The 700-506 thermostatic gas valve is widely used in wall heaters, boilers, gas fireplaces, gas stoves, portable domestic stoves, deep fryers, swimming pool heaters and central heating equipment. Suitable for many residential and commercial applications.

Do Not Buy!This valve is not UL listed and will fail almost immediately.I read the bad reviews but still purchased because it was available immediately and I needed a valve immediately.I am not changing it because it has been very problematic and has now failed.It is hazardous.I do not recommend.

I installed this valve in a deep fryer, Only was working for 3 weeks, pressure comes out very low; I recommend Robertshaw.

How made this valve they don’t care safety issues.I had bought this gas valve a few months ago just to have in my van. In April 02.2024 I installed. After I install I put control knob on pilot position and I opened gas shut off valve, right the way I heard sound i was confused. I tried putting on pilot position the sound stopped. I try pressing down knob to turn on pilot but no way for pressing down? Because completely they made it wrong position control knob. I put the knob on on position without pilot on and the gas was coming and flowed to the burner which is really dangerous, thinking about that sometimes people buy this gas valve and aren’t technicans so they don’t realize how dangerous it is and can be a fire hazard. This gas valve is very dangerous because they built it completely wrong, when I put the control knob on off there is gas coming, and the gas valve picture makes it look like rubberchaw but it is not. Whoever made this gas valve should take responsibility and refund the people.

Hello this valve looks like a Robert Shaw valve it is not it is a knock-off in fact even though everything looks the same if you try to change the regulator from natural to LP over or LP to naturally you can't because the screws are different and they won't fit it's it's a Chinese knockoff it's a copy of a RobertShaw who knows how good they really are you want to save money go for it but you're buying a copy of the original that works for sure your call
