This is a little different than I expected, but should still work based on some research. The actual product is blue, not gray/black, but is does say 7050A on the label. The PPI of this is probably something like 20/25. If you have an aquarium, my filters are usually around 10, quite coarse, which is more what I was expecting. As it turns out, the difference in volume you lose in your fuel tank is relatively negligible between 10-30ppi, but the retention is a bit higher. Overall, I don't think I care. ppi is basically the number of holes in an inch (pores per inch) - google it and you'll see all kinds of pictures.I suspect a lot of this foam is single source, and I had read that one manufacture's "blue", which looks incredibly much the same, does not hold up well to ethanol fuels over time. I cannot say if this is the same, or true, but it's worth mentioning, and just keep an eye on it over time. One note: the edges are not cut square, they have a concave bow to them on the short sides. It shouldn't matter much, but might throw your measurements off by a little, if you're an exacting individual.I will try to update if I find anything long term.
