If your water softener tank is full of water, there is a 95% chance this will fix it. When compared to the assembly off my Rheem Softner, this was 100% identical. In my opinion that's a perfect OEM replacement. The best part this was 50% cheaper than the ones offered from "name brand" amazon stores.This is super easy to replace. Put on the bypass, pull the clip and unscrew the hose and do it in reverse on the new one. Set the softener to regenerate and a few hours later your tank should be drained and operation back to normal with soft water returning to your home.

I popped this into place yesterday on my water softener - lots of the videos seemed to point to this part as being a good fix for about a foot of water in the softener. It seemed like a much easier swap than to order the filter pieces and pop those out. Overall happy with it - had an initial water outsplash on the single outlet but that appears to have been because I didn't tighten it enough. Seems fine now.

This is an exact replacement for my water softener. I had a problem with water filling up the tank, and after watching a video on YouTube I found this replacement, and now the water is slowly decreasing hopefully this help to solve my problem without replacing the entire system.The smaller parts inside feel solid and very similar to the quality I pulled from the original. Replacing it was very easy. Recommend this!
