  • Restore Softening Effectiveness and Enhance Efficiency: Old nozzles and venturi assemblies may wear out, become clogged, or damaged over time, leading to a decline in water softener performance. By replacing them with new ones, the water softener's normal operation is ensured, thereby restoring its effective softening effect and improving efficiency by reducing energy and salt consumption
  • Reduce Maintenance Costs: Timely replacement of key components can lower the maintenance costs of water softeners. Prolonged use of aging or damaged nozzles and venturi assemblies without replacement may lead to more serious issues, requiring additional repairs and costs
  • Extend Lifespan: Regular replacement of key components helps extend the lifespan of water softeners. Keeping all parts of the water softener in good condition reduces overall wear and tear, thereby prolonging the equipment's lifespan
  • Improve Water Quality and Comfort: Ensuring the normal operation of the water softener guarantees the quality of softened water, thereby improving the quality and comfort of household water. Softened water not only reduces the damage of limescale and hard water to household appliances but also makes bathing more comfortable, while reducing cleaning efforts
  • Comprehensive Replacement for Multiple Models: Compatible with various models of water softeners, including 7187065, 7165704, 7214969, 7253808, WS15X10027, and 7238450, providing convenient replacement options

HOW TO TEST?
After disassembling, fully cleaning every component, replacing the rubber seal, carefully reassembling, reinstalling the Nozzle and Venturi then running regeneration cycle.
If the water in the saltwater tank is drained, regular cleaning is all that is needed.
If the brine tank was still full of water, you will need to replace the complete components.

once installed it leaked badly! I removed it, disassembled, and compared it to the old valve. It was missing half of the parts, and it looked like a 7 year old put it together. Hmmm.

Installed and working fine, for now. I would recommend that, prior to installation, you open the New/Replacement Venturi valve and inspect/clean/rinse all the parts. With mine, I had to trim excess material from the gasket, reseat the top and bottom flow plugs and transfer bottom screen from OE valve (better quality). Also, insert a pin through the center holes on flow plugs to clear possible obstructions. 4 star is due to price. Once complete, top off your salt to desired level, reengage the bypass, reconnect to power and initiate a manual regen cycle (hold this button down 3-5 seconds).

Installed this on my Morton water softener. The original is on the right in my picture (the one with a label). They are identical from the outside. On the inside, the parts are identical in design. The build quality is the same. Only a difference in color on one part inside. The big screen on the new unit didn't drop in as easy (needed a little finesse to fit it in), but other than that everything else is the same.I installed it and it works perfectly on the brine fill and brine siphon cycles. No leaks.I would recommend this to anyone that needs a new Venturi for their Kenmore/Whirlpool/Morton or any other softener like this. It's been the same design for around 30 years so this will work fine on any softener that uses this design.
