Motor was barely able to turn the valve. Took the head apart, cleaned it out, reassembled, motor was still barely turning while getting hot. Put the old motor that had a cracked housing and was splitting in half back on and it worked fine.This product is likely a 50/50 chance that you'll get a good one.

Easy replacement part that works well!Be sure to retain the screws from the removed part, the screws that came with the replacement part didn't work with our softeners head unit.
