clip on wire pigtail was broken right off. oil sensor did not work and plug also cracked in half. bought cause it was a decent price compared to part stores but should have read the reviews first and not gone the cheap way out

I bought this item because it was a whole lot cheaper than buying motorcraft replacement parts. I bought it off a whim as I saw it was 3 stars but did not read the reviews until after installation and having problems. After installation the truck would run at normal idle and then start surging after about 10 seconds and occasionly attempt to stall out. The truck would run but the idle was crappy. After placing the ICP with a Dorman I was still having the same problems, so I uninstalled the new IPR from this kit with the old one i had removed and it resolved the issue.the truck is now running smoothly. I had to replace the fuel bowl and figured I'd replace the ipc and ipr as they were easy to get to, do not chance it with this kit!

The icp sensor failed in about 2 months. The ipr valve was just total garbage. Made my 7.3 run even worse. I switched back to the old ipr and bought a new icp from autozone. The worse part was the ipr valve. I wouldn’t even trust putting the new o rings on my old ipr. And it was not the same length as the original. Was going to try to run new solenoid on old. But no. Won’t fit. I will never not buy ford oem sensors now. You have to at least give 1 star or it won’t let you submit. But I truly give no star.
