Easy to Use
Step 1
Start engine and heat gearbox oil temperature to normal operating temperature. Lift the vehicle by car jack. Unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of the engine, drain old oil by gravity and prepare a large oil container in advance to collect the waste oil.
Step 2
Pour the same amount of new oil into the oil can, depending on how much the old oil was emitted. Select a right ATF adapter and insert it into the quick coupler, close the fluid control valve. Connect the adapter to the fill plug or drain plug.
Step 3
Open the valve, press the hand crank up and down to add new ATF fluid into the transmission the desired level (Each stroke provides about 70ml). Follow the vehicle operating instruction to check the transmission fluid level
Step 4
Use clean solvent or engine degreaser to rinse out the reservoir tank and pour it out to waste liquid tank. Allow it to dry thoroughly.
Note
1.Wear protective goggles and gloves to avoid skin contact.
2.Do not extract the oil over the limited line to prevent any spilling and leaking.
3.Operate in a dry and ventilated place away from the fire sources

Bought about 4 of these for our small Import automotive business consisting of two technicians . They work just fine until they dont . They start to capitate rather quickly . One started failing only after 4 months . This is probably good unit for someone using it every so often but if your going to be using once or twice a week it only last about 4-5 months

When it arrives you have to assemble the hand pump to the reservoir but it's pretty easy you do, only two screws. You get attachments for many different types of vehicles but I only need the one for Toyota. You have to have the handle go all the way up and then all the way down and it will get a very good pump. It doesn't require a lot of effort to pump the fluid and it flows at a very good rate. I actually pumped my transmission to a little slow just in case some back pressure would form but it didn't happen. Made the job very easy.

Recently bought a 2021 silverado 1500 4x4 and needed to change transmission fluid and filter but the 8spd transmission doesn't have a filler tube (great design GM) so I got this pump and it worked great. I went ahead and changed the transfer case and front and rear differential fluids while I was at it. Then used it to do my wife's Subaru Impreza CVT transmission fluid and front and rear differential also. Soo much easier than trying to stuff a quart bottle up in tight quarters and getting fluid everywhere.

The QD did not fit the transmission fill adaptor (I needed the Toyota one). Other fill adaptors fit, so I used the universal one to refill my 2014 4Runner (Trail edition) transmission and I think the machined lip on the Toyota one was not deep enough because it would not seat in the QD. Even then, the QD leaked with the universal adaptor, resulting in a mess during the fill process. Would I use it again? Yes, but.... The pump portion of the unit works ok, but the rest of it (QD to adaptor, failure to seal) is a PITA. The real benefit is the ability to measure how much fluid I was putting back in, not so much if it sealed with no leaks. Note that this unit does not pressurize the tank with air; you have to keep pumping to move the fluid through the hose.

Pump doesn't work takes to much effort to make it suction some oil and then it leaks thru the hose and adaptor connection section.
