I discovered Chinese carburetors a few years ago. No more disassembly/cleaning/assembly, repeat, hope, anger. Just throw them in the trash and replace. This carburetor says it works with the Briggs & Straton 22hp. That is what I have in my ~2013 Ariens mower (also sold as a Husqvarna). After I swapped the two carburetors, my mower wouldn't start. Closer inspection revealed one of the linkages did not properly actuate the choke. Off came the carburetor again and I realized there was no way to make the linkage work as this connection plate on this carburetor was different than on my old one. So, I removed the choke plates from the axles (2 screws) on each carburetor, swapped them - after remembering how the springs were attached and preloaded - and reinstalled the new carburetor with my old choke. Hooked it all up. Engine fired immediately and runs great. I figure an extra 30 min to realize what happened, troubleshoot, and correct it. Overall, I'm happy. Still beats rebuilding a carburetor anyday!
