Like most "affordable" router bits, these work fairly well when new, and eventually don't work at all. I hate having to spend $20—$50 for a quality bit that I may use once or twice a year, but too much of this kind of gear is made to be disposable these days. So, spend more to get more with no regrets.

These are good quality bits for the price. It's a smaller diameter set with size steps every 1/16" except no 7/16" bit but also includes a 5/32" bit. I would have preferred a 7/16" bit rather than a 5/32" bit. If these sizes are what you need, go for it. These have clean sharp smooth edges and are precision made. The cutting length is not the longest but is appropriate for the diameter. Not the thickest carbide, but still worth it for the price.

Complete set of straight cut bits for the price of one or two of a name brand. The cutting ability seems to be as good as others, at least when used for dados. I suppose if you're doing some fine woodworking, you may want a premium bit for every last bit of performance, but I haven't noticed anything lacking with these for most purposes. They're good for routing out channels to insert T-tracks, though you'll need a couple passes because those tend to be around 3/4". They're also good for making shelves for the workshop, and you can even make them adjustable by routing a whole series of them and repositioning the shelf as needed. Even if you have to replace a bit instead of sharpening them, you still come out ahead. I'm pretty happy with this set.

Upon receiving this 7 piece router bit set, I installed several of the bits in my router and made test cuts in plywood. The resulting cuts were smooth without any chatter or burning. Each of the bits performed quite nicely and I was pleased with the resulting cuts.If you're someone who only occasionally uses your router and you would rather not spend a ton of money on bits, I think you would be quite pleased with this set. I honestly think this is a great set for under $17.

Seem to be fantastic bits for the price. I suppose there can be differences in the carbide but just inspecting them they look much like Freud or Whiteside or anything else I have. I can promise you with just being a home hobbyist woodworker I'll get every dime of the asking price out of them at basically seven for the price of one. I took the 1/2" inch out and ran it through some poplar and as you can see in my pictures my caliper measured half inch on the money. Clean square bottom dados cut to the perfect size, I'm going to say pretty much perfect is close enough.Another good thing to mention I really appreciate them all coming in their own separate plastic cases clearly marked as to their sizes.. makes it so much better finding them and keeping them in good shape. On all my router bits, after using I hit them with a quick squirt of WD-40 and an old toothbrush and they're good for storage in their own box.If you can use a good value set of straight bits of various sizes under half inch, then for the price I say it's most certainly a go!
