I hosted a nature-themed event that included a charcuterie board. Striving to be as sustainable as possible, I offered all the attendees one of the compostable containers to take home leftovers. My container was filled with greasy meats, including chorizo and salami. Even after storing the leftovers overnight the grease did not seep through. The container gets a little soft if left in the refrigerator, which is expected with compostable materials. Substantial size, big enough for a large salad, full entree, or entire meal. The size makes the box very versatile - to pack a lunch or take home leftovers. I used the containers for another event, having the attendees use the containers to serve their food on instead of paper products. When the event was over, the attendees put the extra food in the container to take home. It eliminated the need for paper plates and separate takeaway containers. Planet friendly option for events.

They are biodegradable and compostable, making them a greener alternative to traditional plastic containers.Heavy Duty Construction: These clamshell containers are sturdy and durable, designed to handle a variety of foods without breaking or bending. The heavy-duty construction ensures that they can withstand the rigors of takeout and delivery services.Three Compartment Design: The three compartments are a practical feature, allowing for easy separation of different food items. This is ideal for meals that include multiple components, helping to keep them neatly organized and preventing sogginess.Disposable Convenience: As disposable containers, they offer the convenience of easy cleanup, which is particularly valuable for busy food service operations or casual dining.Versatile Use: Suitable for a wide range of foods, from hot entrees to cold salads, these containers can handle various temperatures and types of food without compromising their integrity.Cons:Limited Size: The 9x9 inch size may not be sufficient for larger portions or more substantial meals. If serving larger quantities, you might need to consider alternative sizes or additional containers.Appearance: While functional and eco-friendly, the brown bagasse material may not have the polished look of more conventional food containers. This could be a consideration for businesses focused on high-end presentation.Overall:The 100 Pack 9x9 Inch 3 Compartment Clamshell Take Out Food Containers are a top choice for those prioritizing sustainability without sacrificing durability. Their eco-friendly construction and practical design make them well-suited for a variety of food service applications. Although they may have some limitations in size and appearance, their benefits far outweigh these considerations, offering a reliable and environmentally conscious solution for to-go meals.

I am in charge of providing food for my elderly father. There are times I make the food at his house, but often I prepare it at my home and take it over to him. I have avoided disposable containers due to the ecological impact on the environment. And while I have been using plastic reusable containers, I admit that I’m tried of washing dishes at both homes. These are a great solution. Though I have not tested the claim that they will decompose in 90 days, I am comfortable in the knowledge that cardboard is indeed degradable. While I have seen heavier cardboard containers, these are sturdy enough for most foods unless you over load them. They close without problem, and so far, I’ve not had any issues with them popping open. There are also the advantages that I can write the contents on the lid in marker, and they can be used in both fridge and microwave. No concerns about BPA or melting in microwave. As I said, I’ve mostly utilized reusable to go containers. Over time they still break and most are made of #5 or 6 plastics so they need to be tossed eventually. I don’t know about where you live, but no recycling facilities near me accepts #5 or 6 containers. They end up in the land fill. I figure Mother Earth is pleased enough with my choice.

Whether you're a restaurant or just someone who wants to pack a lunch, these are excellent. I've been able to put stir fry as well as many other meals inside of them with no issue. The material has no problems in the microwave and is able to hold up against exceptionally hot foods. I haven't tried filling it with water, but no sauces of any kind have managed to permeate the material. Lid closure could be slightly better, but overall for the size they are excellent.

These compostable food containers are fantastic for leftovers and meal prep. The clamshell design is easy to open and close, and the containers are sturdy enough to hold heavier foods without bending. I love that they’re made from natural unbleached materials, making them an environmentally friendly choice. They’re great for taking food to-go and are a good size for portion control. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a sustainable option for food storage.

They work amazing for smaller portions. They’re the medium size compared to the large from Sam’s Club. These were amazing for our kids quesadilla and being a cheese burrito combos with a side of rice.

These containers are very convenient. For the price they are great for big parties. I use them as my disposalable "tupperware" . I like the ease of quick use and that they are compostable. The bad thing with these are the closeures. They break easily and open if the foods are too heavy. They are not thick and not good for heavy foods. They are however wonderful for liquid foods. They do not leak through at all. They are very spacious and can hold a lot of food but don't do it.
