No bearings and pulley wheel seems cheap. Doesn't seem as strong as the rating.

These pulley were worthless for my application. I tried to use with 1/8" wire rope. The load on the rope was about 50lbs. The pulleys do not rotate at all under this load. I now realize that they are not returnable, my bad for purchasing.

The pulleys are stamped in steel with the warning "use only 1/4" machine screws to install. Somebody threw some wood screws into the bag in which the pulleys were shipped. The pulleys themselves look, on the outside anyway, similar if not identical to some other pulleys I bought and was satisfied with. There is a big difference however: the previous ones I bought have close to 2 1/2 inch diameter wheels, whereas the diameter of the current ones is about 1 inch. The small pulley wheel is just about useless for any practical purpose because the small diameter puts so much strain on the rope.
