I didn’t really know these direct injector seal installation kits were available until I began looking at how to replace the injector Teflon seals prior to assembling my little 4 cylinder that needed a new head gasket. Using the installation tips in this set, you have to stretch the Teflon seal to install it on the fuel injector, then, using the shrink tool, you compress the Teflon seal flush with the injector stem. This is a must in order to install the injectors ensuring a good seal and not damaging the new Teflon seal. It sounds a bit odd, but you can find videos that show and explain this process. This tool kit provides everything you need for the listed application.
