This hydraulic ram is an identical replacement for the blown ram on my engine hoist, and it works fine. I can't speak as to durability because I have only had it a few days. It actually arrived earlier than estimated. I ordered and paid for 1, but they sent 2. I contacted the seller for a return label for the extra one, and received it within hours. The packaging needs to be improved. The box arrived in tatters, but fortunately nothing was missing. It takes about two minutes to install.
