These extrusions seemed fine at first. But when I tried to use industry standard connectors and t-nuts the issues showed up very well. The slot is not 6mm at the opening as it is in all other brands i have been able to check. So if using this with other brands, you will probably be disappointed. If you use only the 80/20 brand fasteners and connectors, you might be OK.

- arrived a week early- extremely high quality- best $/ft from all reputable company’s selling extrusion on amazon. When pricing out $/FT this was the best reasonable option. I was already hoping it would be 80/20 impart because they’re a main supplier to an old manufacturing company I worked for and we never had issues. I’m extremely happy :)Fantastic

If your time is worth nothing, then get this stuff. The standard t-nuts and fittings wont fit in this channel. The same fittings work just fine for makerslide, but not this stuff. Sure its cheap, but you will be paying in time to shave the channel to make stuff fit.Check out other 2020 standard stuff, the cost delta is small.

I used this material to build a custom enclosure for each of my two 3D printer, and I think it did th Jon very well. Combined with the PZRT series connectors and several pieces of acrylic, the enclosure came out sturdy, lightweight, and durable. I can highly recommend this product for any application where a good lightweight frame is needed.

Item was exactly as identified and cut to correct lengths. I was most impressed with the professional packaging of these items. I purchased six of these along with three of the 1200 mm lengths. They were all package together very nicely to prevent scratching and in a sturdy box to prevent bending. Will buy from this company again if I need this product.Edit (8SEP17) I'am reducing my 5 star rating to 3 based on the fact that you can only use 80/20 drop in hardware with this extrusion and the hardware is ridiculously over priced (seriously $1 for a single nut?). I think I have found a workable solution. By grinding down a standard drop in T-nut I believe I can make it work with this material. That being said the extrusion is high quality, I am guessing they are selling it at cost knowing that are going to make money off their $1 nuts.

Would have been five stars but the gap for fasteners is smaller than I'm used to, so some of the t nuts fit and some had to be inserted thru the end. Otherwise, good stuff

As other reviewers have stated, the groove is in fact slightly smaller than, say, an OpenBuilds extrusion, so if you're expecting to use drop-in T-nuts you'll be disappointed. The interior of the slot is similar in size to OpenBuilds, so slide-in nuts work fine. I can't fault anyone for that, because they never claim compatibility, and the full accurate measurements are provided right here in the product description -- if you need OpenBuilds compatibility, do your homework. The center hole can easily be hand-tapped with a M5 thread (not M4, which slips right through). Works for my purposes. Easy enough to cut with a hacksaw if you don't have access to a power tool with a suitable blade.

It was exactly what I needed, 20mm x 20mm x 2440mm. Being in the US, what I didn't expect was for 2440mm to be so damn long. Based off the calculation for what I was building that is what I needed, but I hadn't done the conversion to realize that that meant I would receive an 8' long beam. It barely fit in my car to take it to get it cut.
