I got this assortment of LEDs for Arduino projects. Eight different color LEDs are included: red, yellow, blue, green, white, orange, purple and pink. The purple and pink LEDs have clear lenses and so come packaged separately so you can tell them apart from the clear (white) LEDs. Wire gauge is not marked but I estimate it at 28ga. The leads are tinned and have heat shrink insulation. The assemblies DO NOT include current-limiting resistors so you will need to add your own resistors if your voltage is greater than 2-3VDC. A set of black plastic 3mm mounting bezels is included.Most LEDs need 20mA. Assume red, yellow, green and orange run on 1.8-2.0VDC, whereas white, pink, blue and purple run on 3.0-3.5VDC. To calculate your resistor value subtract LED voltage from your source voltage and divide by 0.02. As an example, if your voltage is 5VDC, red, yellow, green and orange will need a 150-160Ω resistor and white, pink, purple and blue LEDs will need a 75-100Ω resistor wired in series.
