This monocular is just OK. It’s just for starting out to take around for hiking and fishing.just wanted to check it out and see what it was all about. I am new to outdoors activities so I wanted something basic and this is very basic. Comes with a few accessories and that was pretty cool. It’s easy to use and lightweight.

This is a handy gadget for distance viewing in an easily portable package. Monocular viewer is really pretty good for the price, it comes with a small tripod for setting on a tabletop or flat surface. I am still figuring out the cellphone viewing attachment, there could be some better instructions for that somewhere I just haven't taken the time to search them out yet. It is good for viewing objects at a fair distance, say about a quarter of a mile or so. Lightweight but sturdy feel easy to toss in a bag or stow in your car console for when you need to see things at a bit of a distance. Saves some walking if one is target shooting at 200 yards. Lol It is also great for bird watching, though I have only used it for that around my house. I have not done any stargazing or night sky viewing yet so I cannot speak to how that goes yet.All in all it does take some fiddling around to figure out some features but not too difficult. I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone who maybe wants to buy one just to see how much use it would be at a lower price point.

This is a typical Chinese made cheap version of a good product. This is at best for kids or someone who does not mind breaking it when they’re out hiking or camping or for any reason. this is definitely not an 80 zoom by 100 at best. It is a 25 x 60 if that. The website way hype this up and for those who gave it a good review they may have been referring to something they’re comparing it to. I am giving my low rating due to the fact of being overhyped and overrated for what this actually is too many misleading advertisements.

I live in the outskirts of town. During spring and summer we get all kinds of migrating bird. The Green Jay, Cardinals, Redhead woodpeckers, and many others. So I ordered this monocular 80x100. It worked great. At 100ft I could see the beautiful birds up close. I bought the accessories kit with tripod and phone holder. Just the right size for mi iPhone SE. I could focus in real close at 100 ft. Got a 1sq.ft. view. Got some great pics and no shaking with tripod. Great monocular for a great price. Next I'm going to try it out at the range.

I bought this so I can view an eagle's nest across the street from my house. I especially like that I can take my glasses off and still focus and see clearly, even with my terrible eyesight. I can easily zoom to the nest, 500' away, as well as see the birds if they are sitting in the tree. Good clear vision, and easy to use.I have not been able to figure out how to use the cell phone attachment, at least not with my phone. I wish that the description of the tripod had been clear also, that it's a tiny tabletop tripod, not something that extends to the ground. The wrist strap has already broken twice, and I have thrown it away.Other than that, I love this and I am glad I purchased it!

This monocular does not have zoom or night vision. It is easy to adjust and stable with the tripod. I will be willing to use it for pig hunting, target shooting and bird watching. It is compact and seems good quality. The lens covers fit well and the tripod will be necessary when I sightin my targets. The cell phone holder is too small for my phone. The case will be handy when I want to keep it safe in storage. After further consideration I am increasing my rating to five stars for the following reasons: First, I don't think I should rate the product on what it doesn't have, ie zoom and night vision, but on what they advertise and do have. I that regard the product more than met my expectations. Secondly, I forgot to mention the customer service department was more than generous with an issue that was acturally my fault but they corrected it immediately. Consequently, the 5 star rating is well deserved.

I bought this monocular as a Christmas present for my husband (and for me to use as well). It takes some time to get used to adjusting the lenses just right but in the end it's a pretty powerful monocular for the money. We tried viewing the moon and, although we couldn't zoom in as close as we were hoping, you could still see many of the channels and impact sights. This would be great for sporting events, stargazing, and nature watching. I would definitely recommend for a novice just starting to have interest in viewing things from afar. The only issue I had was if you are looking to stargaze while using the phone attachment there's no way to tilt the provided tripod up enough without the phone getting in the way. Also trying to stargaze with the phone in cold weather will interfere with the camera and a halo will appear.
