This monocular works great for zooming in to view wildlife, plants, birds, etc. while you are out exploring the natural world. It is lightweight and easy to pack in your back for a camping or hiking trip. As I have grown older, my vision has deteriorated and it is difficult to see things far away. This monocular helps so much to see things far away and to enjoy watching the world around me. The focus wheel is easy to turn and adjust to your vision and I love that you can be out and enjoying this monocular from the moment you receive it. There is a case, a cleaning cloth, an instruction booklet a cell phone attachment and an adjustable tripod included with your purchase. I usually place the monocular in 1 of my backpack's side pockets for quick and easy access.I thought I would enjoy taking pictures with this monocular on my cell phone, but I have not been able to consistently take good photos yet. This is not a point and shoot device. The pinhole aperture on the adapter has to be perfectly aligned with the camera lens on your cell phone. Then you have to make sure the adapter is aligned perfectly with the lens on the monocular. I am sure I will get better results with time, but it is frustrating to see something so clearly through the monocular on its own, but not be able to capture it quickly and easily in a photo.Even though I haven't been able to figure out how to use the monocular to take amazing photos, I still love having it. It is waterproof and sturdy, perfect for any outdoor adventure! This is an affordable option that is great for beginners looking for something to take better pictures of wildlife or birds. It is also a great, easy-to-carry viewing device for anyone.

I had high hopes for this monocular to take pictures of wildlife. It is difficult to attach to the phone. When you get the eye lined up with your camera and attach the monocular the attachment slides back and forth and is no longer lined up. Also couldn't get images to be clear, always blurry. The company reached out to me. Refunded my money. Other observations: watch your fingers, the slide on the phone attachment pinches. My phone is longer than the tripod is high, so the phone has to sit at an angle. The phone attachment needs to have a double attachment so the piece that attached to the monocular doesn't slide back and forth.

This is a great little gadget to have in the backpack! Works perfect and the size makes it very portable. The mount for the phone is also a nice bonus add in for no extra cost!

These perform as well as many out there costing 4x as much. They are light weight and easy to maneuver, the knobs are adjustable for focus and are really clear in viewing birds. The best part about these is that they came with a case and have a removable lanyard.
