If what you're after is an extreme close-up of something small & faraway, this is for you. I would not say it is a good buy for birdwatchers like me who want to see a bird & its surroundings. I wish they had included the diameter - 2nd # of the lens. If I had known how limited it was I would not have purchased this product. Lastly, handling was very awkward for me because of the weight difference between my light phone and the much heavier monocular. It's too bad. I had to return it.
