Different Abaraive Cleaning Eraser Qualities

There are many Abrasive Cleaning Sticks in the market. But if you look closely, the quality of them are significantly different. Most Abrasive Cleaning Sticks are rubber sheets pasted together with glue. Where as Swift Sticks are made from a Single Block of 100% Natural Rubber.

The manufacturing cost of these glued sheets are cheaper as most of them use different quality grades of rubber and paste them to make the cleaning sticks. Under abrasion this tends to come off as the glue gives way which can cause damage to the Abrasive Belts and may also cause Injury to the operator.

Swift Sticks are made with 100% Natural Rubber and is made out a Single Block of Rubber.

Much more cost effective solution for a pickleball paddle eraser. Essentially the same material (minus the black dye) which is better for your health and the environment. I ended up cutting a 1/2” thick square cross section with a utility knife to serve as my first eraser. At 8.5” long, this product will yield 17 erasers. Cost ends up 41¢ per eraser. Much better than the $4 each typical price tag! What a steal! More money for a new paddle! Or a margarita!

I’m kinda new to an electric sander so when I saw Mathew Peech talking about them, I ordered one and was blown away at how well it worked at cleaning the sand paper off. Works great!

I used this on a couple of different sanders I have. Been prepping my house for painting so it was a good time to try it. As one other reviewer said this is not as big as that picture makes it out to be. At first I thought I had got the wrong item but after checking the dimensions listed it matches what I got, picture is just a little deceiving. Works as advertised for what was stuck in my sanding belts. I can see where some materials may not clean off as easily and your normal sanding materials. For what I was using it for it has done a good job. Not expensive to try out so as the old saying goes “you never know till you try it”.
