So far the DVR is working as it should. If you're not familiar with how DVRs work, please ask for help from someone when setting this up. I don't believe this deserves a 1 star because the setup was hard. They email you instructions on how to set this up as well. The only thing that was "challenging" was the network part of it, but even that was pretty easy. Overall, it's working great!

There's no hard drive and the description doesn't mention that.The instruction manual is useless, the pics don't match what's on the screen.It doesn't work with my current cameras. I'm returning it for a better model.

Unless you buy their own cameras it will not see your current cameras. Tried 4 different types of POE cameras, wouldn't see any of them.

Purchased a few NVRs to test out to replace my broken LaView NVR. This model is similar to the Hiseeu unit, but with small improvements to the UI, like indicating that the a password failure is preventing you from doing something (via notification) instead of just an unchanging screen.The problem is that for an Onvif camera that doesn't have a password, requiring one breaks the unit as it prevents the unit from working with an otherwise fully functional camera.

Setup is sorta not clear. The manual is useless. I was able to get it to work.Was compatible to cameras I already had so that was good. Finicky settings for each camera.

If you are looking for a quality system this is not the way to go. Not so easy set up nor does the quality impress me for an almost 400 dollar total system.

No hard drive, and couldn’t get any hard drive to work. The aap doesn’t work. Now I have to return it.
