Pay attention to the series and handle style ordered a few to get the right one since I don’t know what victor handle I had. Set it up and runs amazing using it for 3/8 plate on a loader bucket. Will get both sides cherry red, the 2”1/2 welded to 3/4 it won’t get both sides cherry red but that’s more on me for not getting a larger rose bud.

Even a # 4 rosebud requires 5-20 CFH and acetylene, unlike most gasses, is not a compressed gas... it is dissolved in acetone in a sponge-like core. The acetylene can only move to gas at about 1/7th the tank size.If you have a 140 CF tank, you can draw 20 CFH safely. And it is a safety concern because if the acetylene drops pressure then the mixing valves will allow oxygen into the acetylene line and that's a dangerous situation even if you trust your flashback arrestors. So, make sure you have at least a 40 CF tank to even get this thing going. Ideally, you would have a 145 CF tank so that you can fully utilize the #4 rosebud. All that said, by the time you're running a #4 rosebud that low, you can just use your cutting torch to get about the same amount of heat.
