Original plug wore out. Had no idea I bought a truck with a disposable oil pan plug. Bought a bag of them and replace the plug after every third oil change so that I never have to worry about another leak from my 2018 Ford F-150 XLT Gen 3 Coyote 5.0L V8

Leaks, issue appears to be that the o-ring is too small. I had to swap back in the used OEM one with clean oil in the engine….lost about a quart in spillage during the swap. What a mess. Stay away.

Plenty to change out with each oil change. Terrible design from the auto industry. Never had a metal plug leak. If you leave the new plugs in over multiple changes the o ring will leak. For the price of the pack, it’s much better to change them out each time. They are the same as the factory. Side by side, I could not tell the difference.

F150 drain plug it works well only thing I don't like is it looks kinda cheap but works well
