Remember if u r replacing a smaller cassette ( 1st sprocket was 34, this one the 1st sprocket is 40 teeth) you r going to have to adjust or replace the derailer!

For the price, it's hard to resist, but after riding about 200 miles on this cassette, it's already showing signs of failure. The 11T ring doesn't sit well in the whole assembly, and has become useless. There is a lot of slop in the rings and although not as extreme as the video shown on the amazon page, it does have an excessive amount of wobble. And finally, the ring used to secure the cassette that is provided with the kit is Aluminum and one time use.

Replaced my wife's 11-36t shimano with this sunrace. Perfect fit and didn't even need to add link to chains. Shifts perfectly.

Looks great on the bike, just be sure you have a derailleur that can handle 40t, it’s huge! I got a long cage Microshift derailleur and it can’t get to the lowest gear.

i installed this cassette on a 05 ish kona dawg deluxe that i converted to a from a 2x9 to a 1X9 set up. this cassette greatly improves the range. install was easy with bike mechanic knowledge using a cassette tool, chain whip tool, allan wrenches and adjusting the derailleur , cranking the B tension screw is necessary. durability is unknown at this point but i assume it'll last a long time as this bike is not used heavily

Thrilled with this cassette. I bought it because1. Great price2. this changed the low gear from 34 teeth (my original cassette and pretty standard) to 40 teeth. So I can tackle steeper hills now.Installation was easy - once I realize that the rubbing noise in lowest gear was from the derailleur hitting the cassette. There is a little screw that allows you to adjust the derailleur to move it away from the cassette - and it barely but successfully cleared it.So their claim that you can use the same chain and derailleur as with a standard cassette is true. Shifts without trouble onto those huge rings of the cassetteI am very pleased with this "free" upgrade to easier hill climbing when I had to replace my worn standard cassette

I bought a Giant Glory downhill bike to ride in the local mountains behind where I live, there is some great single track and downhill runs, however they all require peddling to get to the top, so I replaced the very high geared 9speed cassette with this one, works like a charm, granted the glory is rather heavy and the geometry is set up for downhill, but at least with this gearing I can pedal up now, it works great, shifts great, it did require a long cage derailleur but the guy I purchased the bike from already had one on it (why i don't know) but that 40 tooth low gear sure is nice when i have to climb!

Good product, Good price, I have been using for a month now and it gives smooth shifting. Very little adjustment but make sure you have the right tools before you start. I also installed a new chain at the same time to insure smooth shifting. Love the lower gears, I live in the mountains and it is either up a steep grade up or down.with little in between. I went from a 11-34 cassette to 11-40
