Took about an hour to remove and install for my 2000 Ford F150. Love the product and its been great for passing gas for my truck. It had heart burn to begin with and I thought I was going to have to give it Nexium, but then I found this part and it no longer has heartburn like before and is able to pass gas normally like a true American truck. And it's not exhausted lol.

When the part arrived it was in a box loose along with (1) supplied gasket. The metal reinforced graphic gasket was bent beyond usability. So I had to buy one to replace the damaged gasket but also second one for the EGR mounting tube. Here is what should have happened IMO:1. This EGR like most EGR's is a heavy chunk of metal that if packed loose in an over-sized box like I received, will rock, roll and shake with every movement the box goes through in the shipping cycle. This presents itself to damaging not only the EGR but if the supplied gasket is in there loose along with the EGR, it too will get damaged! The EGR and gaskets should both be bubble wrapped before being put into the box so it can't move at all.2. This EGR is used on an engine that makes it impossible to remove and replace just 1 gasket. Any mechanic that removes the EGR will first have to remove the EGR mounting tube with the EGR still attached to it and then remove the EGR from said tube. This EGR and mounting tube uses 2 of the same gasket and should have 2 gaskets included.Fortunately the EGR itself appeared to be undamaged so I went ahead and installed it. It worked out OK. Had it failed however, this would have required the removal of the entire Upper Intake Manifold to get to it again. Not a fun prospect.
