We've used the version for hardwood floors several times with great results. Purchased this one for concrete since we had 3200 sqft to clean free of epoxy coating and nasty black floor adhesive. Well worth the money.

These worked fantastic, especially since we had a very unusual concrete floor that was laced with iron. It roughened it up enough for the epoxy to stick to. We used it for a 10000 sq ft floor.

I called Diamabrush directly to help me pick which brush to buy. The man on the line was very helpful in choosing the concrete etch or this, the mastic remover AND etch. We’ve used it on about 1000 sq feet so far removing vinyl tile adhesive and black mastic and it’s still got plenty of life left. It’s best to clean it in between uses.

I looked at the wood floor version and bought the small unit for the 5 inch grinder. It works well yet wears out quick.I then saw this and made some phone calls and talked to one of the people at Diamabrush and talked about my project. This is how well it works. I have a NSA low speed single speed buffer and this plate fits very well and easy to install.I have some cupping on my 2300 square feet home and needed a faster way to remove it besides buying a belt sander as I could not find any used units for less than 1500 plus. I own a OSB 18 plate sander so my options was to sand with 20 grit and spend hours and hours and sheet after sheet working the floor down. This plate comes in super handy I have done just over 500 square feet and still have not wore it down, The only learning curve one has to learn with some cupping on the floors, It will be ruff for the first few start up as it is super aggressive once you get started it may hop a bit till you get it running flat. If you do not have any cupping on your floors this will strip your floor very fast. I am still learning on it and finding new ways to remove the cupping, The more I sand with it the better I get. The dirt, grime and finish is comes off fast. It would be helpful it I were to drill a hole in my buffer and install a shop vac hose in it to suck up the dust, In one room I stripped off 20 plus pounds of finish, dirt, grime and wood. So it works very well, The cupping will slowly go away with every pass. Over all with the price of the unit, which I paid just under 400 dollars and the buffer used at 170 dollars I will save a ton of money instead of renting and can take my time.

I used this to remove the residual black rubber/foam backing left over from foam back outdoor carpeting from a semi smooth concrete.I used this tool "dry" and at 800 RPM ! It worked great ! and left the floor with a nice consistent scratch that I then installed tile over. After about 800 square feet of use it showed little ware , I would guess it could do about 4000 square feet.

I used this to remove the top layer of cement to ruff it up be painting it on 6000 square feet and the blades look almost like new. Very pleased with it. Worth every penny it cost and then some.

Works really well on removing adhesive residue as long as there is not large mounds or globs of glue left on the slab. Saves tremendous amounts of time on floor scraping and preparation to install other resilient flooring or ceramic tile, and wood onto the sub-floor.
