Bought these for my 2012 Veloster. The sides where popping out. Bought these to replace them. They worked well. Popped right in.

There is an underlying black foam strip that is double sticky taped to the underside of the molding. This is necessary as it seals the piece against the windshield and prevents wind and water from getting underneath but the padded strip is so thick that when you go to pop the molding into the tabs it can not lock into place.When I first unboxrd the plastic side molding, the foam strip that forms a seal against the windshield wasn't holding into place. It was peeling back. I tried to reattach sticky back strip but the glue was already dry and it would not hold so I placed glue on it to hold it. Later I saw that the sealing strip was too thick. Perhaps someone changed it out at the factory thinking thicker was better. My wife feels the same way.
