I have a shop compressor that sounded like it was bogging down after running for about ten seconds. a few sorces on the net said it could be the check valve which I then replaced...it made sence...back pressure into the pump and the motor has to fight it. this did not fix the problem. I did a little more research and another solution was to replace the v-belt. the one I had did not look worn at all but in doing the research they said the old one could be glazed and smooth as well as a bit dry. I replaced it with this belt and to my suprise and delight it runs like new. good belt, good price, arrived faster than originally told

If it lasts as long as original belt I’ll definitely rate it a 5 but only time will tell

I was surprised that this belt was an exact duplicate of the original belt on my compressor which is over 20 years old.
