I've been playing drums for close to 40 years. These bags are great for transporting hardware. I purchased this one to replace my larger version I purchased about 10 years ago. It had held up better than any hardware bag I have purchased before or since. It's still in decent working condition, but I don't need as much space and a shorter bag will help with my loading.Pros:It's durable and offers decent protection for your hardware and the people carrying it. The bag includes lots of straps to hold stuff in place and keep the bag securely closed. The zippers and handles are high quality and won't break unless they're abused.Cons:Not a lot on this front. My previous bag ended up with a tear on one of the seams that didn't go into the actual case and hasn't expanded. I suspect it was due to my over packing the bag at some point. They do NOT offer replacement wheels. After about 8 years or so the rubber wheels on my previous bag started to fall apart. Underneath there is a plastic wheel, so I can still roll the bag. I did keep the bag in a number of environments which could have adversely affected the rubber, so I'm not really faulting them for the wheels falling apart, just for not offering a replacement option.Overall, I'd say this series is the best hardware bag series on the market. I've purchased several other bags that didn't last nearly as long, and while the cost on those bags may have been lower, they weren't worth it in the long run.

The overall design with internal padding is great. There is enough room on the inside for additional accessories. However, the bag lacks external pockets which would be useful for quick access items, and it can also not be locked at all. The zipper pulls do not have holes to route a lock through, whether in the zipper base or the pulls. The case is rather large, much bigger than a carry-on, and so would have to be checked in for travel. This is on the expensive side at $249, so the lack of locking feels like a glaring oversight.

Good quality. Holds everything. Relatively easy to handle. Rugged construction. Lots of handles.Only downside. The bag needs another handle at the opposite end. The two handles on top are great, but having two good solid handles it either end of the bag would have made it great
