Seems functional but main shaft near the hook is thicker than others I've used.

not going to take any stars away as this is a cheap tool, it does work, it didn't work as great as I thought it would but if your thinking about getting one I would do it, it provides enough of a different offset to standard brake tools you will definitely be glad you have it around, if they made one with a little longer handle and about a 1/4" more at the end after the bend, you would have a winner

I really like this tool, it’s thinner at the tip for tinier springs and just has a nicer pro feel to it, worth the price

This tool made quick work of the heavy stainless steel springs used on the exhaust of a Can Am Maverick X3. Much safer than using a pair of needle nose pliers. This is one of those instances where you probably wont be reaching for this tool that often, but when you need to use it, it makes the job 10 times easier. It doesn't cost a lot, and doesn't take up a bunch of room in the toolbox, paid for itself in one use in my mind.

There is nothing spectacular about a spring installation tool. I purchased this tool to install springs on new motorcycle exhaust headers and it worked great. Sturdy enough for strong spring pull and has an angle at the hook for hard to reach areas. Does not bend or flex under pull and I was not worried the springs would slip off during install. Wish I had it when changing drum brakes on former older truck I had. It is 6 inches in length and handle is 3 inches wide. Fits in with all of my T-handle allen/torx keys in tool box.
