I don't use this as a seamer, but rather a small hand brake. It works well for small sheet metal projects, like flashing.

I see only two things I would change. First, the spring is stupid strong. Much stronger than warranted and unnecessarily increases the difficulty of operating the tool. Second, the jaws open too wide and there is no adjustment. When opened wide, the jaws and handles spread a bit too far which further increases the difficulty in using the tool. Ergonomically, the spring and handles are an issue. Change the spring, adjust excessive opening and handle spread, and it's a solid and lifetime tool.

Worked great. I have a horse who took a few bites at the metal flange on the barn door, kinda crumpling it so it wouldn’t seal properly. A couple of minutes with this tool has it back in shape and ready for the blowing snow that we all know is coming. Good tool!

This hand seamer tool is exactly what I was hoping to end up with. . They are 1st rate quality construction. A very good addition to my toolbox. I am glad that I selected this one & not any of the other more expensive ones. This one feels like it might weigh in @ somewhere around 2+ pounds. This hand tool ain't something that will warp or tear up or fall apart. They are good heavyweights that will last for many years.

I am a contractor and for years I used a hammer, board and pliers to do the small flashing details I needed. I purchased a pair of these a some years ago. My son-in-law a contractor also which does a lot of work with me was always was borrowing mine so I had to get him some this Christmas. They are a must have if you are doing on site bending of flashing. It is never as good as a sheet metal shop with the bigger machines to do the job but it is great for the time when you do not need them.

Heavy in the hand and bull strong , so far so good . I use it to straighten out the four by four squares of wire after installing goat and sheep fence . The 3 inch fits in the 4 inch squares and straightens out the wire that gets bent in shipping , handling and installation . Just put on the bent horizontal or vertical wire and squeeze as you turn it . Don't have to squeeze hard as the wire is soft and it is factory straight and square . Makes for a first class fence job ! I like this tool and it is worth the price paid . Rubbed a little 3N1 oil on it and put it in the tool box . Should last for years . Thanks for reading !
