I was looking for a solution to bond the pool water in my saltwater above ground pool to other metal components within reach of the pool. This was easy to install in a Hayward wide mouth above ground pool skimmer. No leaks with the included washer and the wire clamp easily fits the required copper wire size. I have noticed a tiny bit of surface rust where the post is welded to the plate after about a month of immersion in salt water, but no so much it is cause for concern. I expect it to last multiple seasons, even in saltwater which tends to be corrosive to metals, but at the great price, I'd be happy even if I have to replace once a year. It provides great peace of mind and when I checked with a multimeter probe stuck in the water about 4 feet away from the skimmer to the wire clamp, it showed continuity, so I'm confident my pool water is bonded.

This inexpensive product is exactly what you need to satisfy NEC and local code requirements for pool grounding and bonding for above ground pool skimmers. Don't get screwed out of an additional $50 plus dollars by other companies!!!!!!!!

My above ground pool replacement failed inspection for not having the water bonded per updated code. Purchased this and it was easy to install with all of the right parts included (plus 1 extra set), including the proper size drill bit and wrench. If your pool is already full, block the skimmer as much as you can and/or work quickly once you drill, but it was very quick for me to drill a hole in the correct spot (clearly explained in instructions) and fit everything together, only lost a few seconds of squirting water. The supplied wrench worked perfectly for tightening down the plate to the first nut, and then I used an 8mm socket to make quicker work of the lug for the bonding wire.Update: Confirmed I passed inspection using this plate and connecting into the bond ring around my pool.
