Chose this lock to use on my Vespa GTV 300 (2023) that has a smaller space between wheel frame and brake disk. I can manage to still manoeuvre into place this lock without much hassle. The other more "safe" models wouldn't fit.The lock itself is not easily tampered with. Can't see how to get a cutter in this thing. I guess probably the most vulnerable entry point is the key lock that can be forced, like any other key lock. Even so, putting my faith in ABUS about that part. Alarm is loud enough, even if I would prefer it to be louder. The main point of such a lock is to prevent it to be removed and sound the alarm if the moto is being carried. It fits that purpose.

アラームを設定して、ちょっといじったりするとけたたましい音が鳴ります。窃盗犯ならばすぐ退散するでしょう。アラーム解除は慎重にしないといけませんが。バイクカバーをかけて使用していますが、多少の風くらいでは反応しません。（台風だとさすがに鳴ります）基本ほっておいて大丈夫。この点、周りに迷惑が掛からずいいですね。安心して留守にできます。

Nachdem mein 20 Jahre altes Abus Granit den Geist aufgegeben hatte, musste ein neues Bremsscheibenschloss her. Das Abus Detecto erfüllt meine Erwartungen vollends. Es lässt sich mit einem Klick ( kein Alarm scharf ) an die Bremsscheibe montieren, ein zweiter kräftiger Druck auf das Schloss aktiviert die integrierte Alarmanlage. Genial simpel. Die Aktivierung wird mit einem relativ leisen Piep akustisch bestätigt. Wenn man das Schloss leicht bewegt ( zum Aufschließen ), dann ertönt dieses Piepen 4 mal. So lange hat man Zeit, das Schloss aufzuschließen. Wenn diese „ Vorwarnzeit“ abgelaufen und das Schloss nicht aufgeschlossen ist, ertönt eine hammerlaute Alarmsirene, echt eindrucksvoll. Nach 15 Sekunden geht der Alarm von alleine aus ( oder man hat das Schloss aufgeschlossen ) und es stellt sich wieder scharf. Das Detecto macht einen super stabilen und wertigen Eindruck, sieht toll aus und überzeugt mich vollends. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
