OOMA doesn’t support the their non-standard AC adapter. Other people on the internet resorted to clipping and splicing somebody else’s generic brick to the OOMA cord. I ordered an aftermarket adapter from Amazon at the suggestion of OOMA support.The obvious Amazon unit "AC Adapter for Ooma Telo Air" has a longer barrel (10mm vs 6.9mm) and is slightly fatter (3.95mm vs 3.75mm). It hangs out of the socket but works. The newer Telo's may spec a 3amp rated adapter - beware.I took a star off mostly due to OOMA's lack of support.

Thought my Ooma device had gone bad. On a whim, purchased just the AC adapter and that was the problem! Saved me a lot of money!

Lasted 3 months. Good while it lasted but expected at least several years of life. Original lasted over 5 years. Messaged manufacturer but haven’t heard back.11/11/24 Update: manufacturer made good and sent replacement less cost of shipping. Let’s hope it lasts longer.

My Ooma telo died. But before replacing the entire unit, I suspected the AC adapter may be bad. Plugged in the new adapter and the telo came back to life. Thank you Amazon!

Arrived fine but it is not 5V 3A. It is 2A and not a true match for Ooma Telo. It worked though.
