I was sketchy of it at first. Because at the parts store like O'Reilly's and Napa and AutoZone it was over $200 for the part and $30 at the pick-a-part. So for $60 on Amazon I gave it a try and was not disappointed. Looks like it is the original. Works great.

Looked up a video on YouTube and went to work. Installation was a breeze on my 1997 GMC Sierra 1500 and it works great. A/C qnd heater are work as they should and at night I'm able to see the panel

I tried two other brands that Amazon sells. Those other two worked once then failed. I sent them back and got replacements that also failed. This brand has a much better designed and robust circuit board. It had bigger rotary controls and it is heavier than the old style. Plus this one worked and continues to work. Don't bother with the others...even the famous name brand one. They are all the same. This one is way different.
