My son bought me a small refrigerator for my shop and it got a hole in it trying to defrost it using a screwdriver little device do not do that does not come with the port to recharge it my son ordered this a little epoxy and this right here had it up and going in two days so if you got a fridge raider big or small or anything else for that matter that needs a port here’s the tool

I bought this to work on an ice-maker that had no service ports. I did my research to ensure I tapped the low (suction) line. Worked perfectly with no leaks!

There are not two tap kits in the package as the description implies. I was tricked. The description implies you get two for $9.xx. Not true. One kit... one tap and the 134a adapter.... the Schrader value core remover is included as well.

Had to tap into my 5cf chest freezer after modifying it into a water chiller I had to refill it because I nicked a Freon line. Stuck a small piece of aluminum tape over the hole I drilled and then used JB clear weld epoxy and let it cure a three days before adding another layer of epoxy. Let it cure another week, installed this valve, pulled a vacuum, saw it held, charged it and it actually works better than when we stored food in it.Something to note is that when you’re done re charging be sure to close the piercing valve all the way. This adds an extra barrier to seal before the shredder valve. I don’t have any leaks.
