The battery has to be made to fit the radio, the dimensions are just a little bit off but it willseat and lock in. I checked for burrs or molding seams and didn't find any.

I have had this battery for quite a while, and it still holds a charge and lasts quite some time. I would recommend this battery to someone looking for either a replacement battery or just an extra to have on hand.

Even the original battery doesn't have a great lifetime, this is the same. Buy a couple to carry with you, they are inexpensive enough. Work fine.

This is a great replacement battery for the FT70DR with a slightly higher capacity than the OEM. I was so happy with this battery that I came back and ordered a second one, which arrived yesterday. Highly recommend.
