Both the R8 and Morse taper 2 seem to be accurate. Note that the keyway and milled slot in the tool are razor sharp. Stone them to avoid accidental cuts.Also, the threads for the R8 drawbar are very tight. I suspect that they distorted slightly when the tool was heat treated. It is threaded 7/16-20 but I need a wrench to turn in the drawbar.Despite these quibbles, it looks like it is going to work for what I wanted.
