This was what I needed to fix a dripping leak on the bottom of the engine. Oddly the one I received was packed full of some sort of waxy or silicone material. I don't know if it could have been part of the manufacturing process it didn't get cleaned out or what. I dug it all out with a screwdriver and rinsed it out good. Otherwise the part was perfect and seals well.

The fittings have a small rubber seal inside of it that keeps the line from leaking not sure why general motors designed it this way but it is what it is and it is an easy replacement but a bad design.

This is the fitting for the bottom of the transmission this comes with a built-in o-ring and an eclip works exactly as it should for about a quarter of the price of most major chains absolutely worth the value and the quality is perfectly fine with OEM functionality

Did the job,no leak but made of aluminium instead of steel like the old one on the car….Dont know about longevity of that cheaper part even if it’s an OEM GM part

Still in the vehicle no leaks nothing, mechanic wanted $1000 to replace various lines etc. but thought lets try doing it on my own and see if this cheap fix, actually works and is the reason for the minor coolant leak. Impalas have the notorious coolant leak issues cause of this part alone. 2 years now no leaks nothing touchwood.

This product fit perfectly and fixed the annoying transmission leak. It was an easy fix, took 5 min and took minimal tools. Life is good! Oh yeah, if your like me, now the car even runs better too!🤣

Transmission had a major leak that had me worried. This fixed it and it was pretty easy to do. One thing to mention is my original fitting had at least twice as many threads as this one. So when I was taking the old one off, I kept turning and turning and it seemed like something was wrong. Nope, just need to spin the old one until you reach the last thread. That might mean you need to move the transmission cooler line out of the way. To do that, you will have to first undo one bolt on the cooler line support bracket and then it unsnaps easy. Despite fewer threads, this new one fit and worked well and with fewer threads was easier to install.
