This timing chain damper is an actual OEM part, it’s good value for the money. I would recommend getting this if your tensioner has gone bad!

The OEM one is made with bushings pressed in. This is the one you need others the sleeves are molded into the plastic and trying to remover them will make them explode... ask me how I know!

Installed this while completing a VVT delete on my Gen4 LS 6.2L L92. The installation holes used (with provided bolts) were the old holes for the original guides.

Deleting the DOD (cylinder deactivation) on a Gen 4 LS, this should be on your parts list. I have an L77 6.0 and the stock spring style tensioner is garbage as the guides start to fail and break off over time (just caught mine in time while doing a cam swap). This LS2 style bolts between the cam gear and the sprocket and no issues.
