First I tried to use my toaster oven to get this on, then after struggling to pop it off so I could get it fully on I ended up sticking it on the burner of the gas stove (don't tell the wife she wasn't home) until it got nice and hot. After that it just slid right on where I wanted it to. A few moments of cooling later, and bammo brand new 700R4 reluctor instead of a plastic speedometer gear.
