When it comes to car and truck repairs, cost can be the difference between getting something fixed, or NOT. If your goal is to get it done, then you have to consider both the cost of repairs and the cost of the parts. Make no mistake... the dealers and auto repair shops will mark up the cost of those parts, and could end up being as much as 100% more than the original cost of the part.If you decide to get your own parts, you have to be extra careful to get the right part. If you don't and the mechanic is the middle of the repair... all #e!! can break loose. "Well customer, now we have top charge you for the parts and time that it will take..." blah blah.Ordering and getting the right parts for my truck was so easy. And when the parts came in, THEY WERE THE RIGHT PARTS!Save yourself time and use the fitment tools available when you select parts, and you will be happy with the savings. I am!

This is legitimate, and it was straightforward. The tool it comes with helps out a lot; there is no need to zip ties or anything extra. For the novice, I can see the difficulty. It is not that hard with the correct tools

I read many reviews that said the tool supplied didn't work. It worked first try for me and was extremely simple to use. Cut the old belt off after removing the main drive belt (accessory belt). Loop the new belt over the balancer and put the belt behind the balancer for now then loop the belt on the condenser pulley. The tool is designed to fit down into the pulley grooves so place it on the bottom side of the pulley (in the groves) and slide it towards the top then take the belt and place it on the foward side of the built in lip that pushes the belt on to the pulley. Once you have that tight all you do it turn the balancer clockwise and it pulls the belt onto the pulley as it rotates clockwise. Turn until the tool falls out and boom...you are done.

Ignore Amazon - this fits a 2013 Silverado 5.3L. The "tool" is useless. You can't turn the crank completely as the tool runs into a sensor. Don't waste time with it. After you've removed the serpentine belt, drop the lower plastic pan so you can get a close look at the pulleys - four 15mm bolts. Put the belt on the AC pulley and behind the crank pulley. Then pull as much of the belt as you can onto the crank pulley. Take a strong tie-wrap and cinch the belt to the crank pulley right at the point where the belt is engaged to the pulley and draw it tight. You can do this from the top or bottom. Turn the crank slowly in the appropriate direction with a breaker bar and 24mm socket. The belt will be pulled onto the crank pulley. If the belt isn't perfectly seated just turn the crank in the opposite direction and it will line up perfectly. Inspect from the bottom and you're done. Total install time around 20minutes.

OEM ac belt for my 2011 Sierra 5.3. Easy to install using the supplied guide tool. Good price as my local GM dealer wanted around $95.
