G6 GPS Speed Meter Troubleshooting
- 1. No display on the screen, no power
- Check whether USB line is damaged, replace USB line test, and prohibit using voltage higher than 5V
- 2.No speed
- The power satellite icon flashing indicates the state of star search, underground parking lot, tunnel, overpass, can not be connected with the satellite when there is shelter, move the car to the open road, and then the satellite icon stops flashing, can be used normally
- 3.time calibration
- 1. Adjust the time area when the satellite is not received. 2
- 4. No vehicle speed
- Check whether the unit is correct, km KM / mile MPH, (speed unit switching reference setting 5 items)
- When the car leaves the manufacturer increases the speed displayed on the dashboard by 5-7%,
- Fine-tune the vehicle speed, if the meter displays 100 Km/h, the machine displays 105 Km/h, and adjust the parameter value to 102
- 5. Driving direction is wrong
- The satellite can't tell your direction when there have no speed, and the speed exceeds 5KM / H
- 6. The speed is still displayed after the car is stopped
- Underground parking lot, tunnel, overpass, there is shelter will make the signal unstable satellite drift, please drive the car to the open road

Great GPS Speedo.I use this on my classic car which has a KPH speedo.Its round style suits my car, much more appropriate than a digital readout.I have checked it against my Garmin, its accurate and responds quickly

I don't like that it has 1 toggle for settings. Trying to set up the clock and switch it to 12 hours instead of the 24. And when I try to set the time, the mins skip 10 mins instead of min by min.

EDITED: Changed my original review from 1 Star to 4 Stars! I switched the original USB power cord that came with this G6 Odometer with a different cord, and it works great now! No issues with it any longer. I'm so glad, because I really like this digital odometer! It's exactly what I needed for my car!ORIGINAL REVIEW:I really liked this G6 Digital Odometer when it worked! It calibrated right and worked really well and was exactly what I needed in my car.To my great disappointment, it only lasted a little over ONE month before it stopped working! It won't turn on at all anymore. I've tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. Tried jiggling the cord where it connects to the back. Nothing I do will make it turn on again. This was a lot of money for something that didn't last! And of course it's past the 30 days Amazon return window. I'm SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! :(

Difficult to setup even with the instructions. Gps takes too long to connect and I have to let my car heat up for atleast 5 min so theres plenty of time

Not accurate, reads 15mph under actual speed, verified with other known good gps speed devices. Complete waste of money.

It works well and is within 1 or 2 miles per hour, I am satisfied with it. It lights up nice and looks good.
