This is the second tank Ive purchased and no issues at all. The only reason I bought another was due to changing the color of my bike. Ive been down several times and the bike has flopped and tumbled on hills. The tanks have held up great.

I installed this tank on my DRZ 400SM for a 7 day off-roading trip from Mammoth Lakes to the Oregon border. The tank was easy to install, fit fine, and gave me a lot of extra mileage over the stock tank. The only bummer was the cap vent came broken and the tube with it was missing. Had to buy another cap and vent tube.

Previously had the 4 gal ims tank. It didn't fit well and cracked after a tip over. This tank is far superior. The fit is excellent and it seems to be made of a more durable plastic

The tank is decent enough and easy to install with a good fit. I didn't have any need to file down the seat tab like others said, but my package came without the vent tube and didn't include the bracket "L" that's listed on the materials list.This is one example of their poor quality control, but the most egregious is that one of the threads on the right side is completely stripped from the factory and will not accept a bolt. So now I can't get a bolt in and I'm unwilling to go through a replacement process. Just garbage QC from a brand with a good reputation and it leaves me sour about the whole thing.

Worth every penny ! Fits like a glove on my super moto and holds plenty of fuel. Slight angle grinding was needed to the metal bracket that the seat hooks onto but the over all install took less than 20 minutes. I also had to buy the vent line on the gas cap separate at a local power sports shop

Terrible fitment too wide around the frame hockypuck grommets on frame not even close to the pockets on the tank. Holes for mounting to the frame in rear way off and when I did get it somewhat installed talk sits about 2 inches wider then the seat with a uncomfortable sharp edge at thigh area. I returned and purchased a clark tank and could not be happier and it looks better.

Awesome part, it was exactly what I expected. From what I read online, other people had problems with the seat clip being too wide and the petcock being kinda cheap. The petcock does have a plastic lever, but worked perfectly fine for me. I did have to shave down the metal on the seat clip, but that's not the fault of the seller. I would chalk that up to a manufacturing defect. I'm surprised acerbis hasn't fixed such a well known problem, maybe it's to make the tank work with other bikes. Either way. It's still an awesome part.

Shipped fast, the tank it well made, okay so I had to dremmel off a touch of the seat tab that inserts into the little bracket on the tank it was very simple could be done with regular hand tools. The fuel petcock is a on off reserve style it doesn’t utilize vacuum so remember to shut off your fuel, also the fuel petcock has rough threaded screws that bite into the plastic tank not metal inserts and machine screws you might expect.. but they worked and sealed properly so not a issue if you don’t over torque it. The tank Came with a gas cap and decals. It looks awesome, adds much needed range and in conclusion it’s a great addition to your dual sport. Love it. Installed on a 2016 Drz400s
