Tried the other brands but this one is more like the original pump. IMPORTANT you have to replace the gear in order for it to work. I clamped a pair of vice grips directly to the face of the gear between two lobes and used a pry bar to remove the steel gear. Works like it did 58 years ago!

I put this product on a 1972 Nova supersport. For the price it is exactly worth it it worked and looks just like the stock one. Everywhere else I called and looked around wanted well over $100 for it. This was the best deal I can find and I like it. I now have perfectly good squirters for the windshield.

The windshield washer pump has never worked since I bought my classic Chevrolet car way back in 1994. I thought I'd have to pay a hefty price for new aftermarket pump. Found this on Amazon and now I have windshield washers that work for the first time in 28 years.

Does not fit EXACTLY right to the stock wiper motor. The wiper cam on the motor that drives the pump is tight, and causes the pump to move with wach rotation. Much loke a wheel that's out of balance. This will cause a reduced life of the pump... It works, and my car would be caught in the rain, not driven in the rain. It's a fair weather driver, not a daily driver so the pump is "just Okay" with me...

This pump worked great in my '74 Nova! The old pump would not stop pumping when you pressed in the switch for the windshield washer. This was pretty easy to install and I got it at a great price compared to every other web site I checked out. This pump is American-made and I am very pleased with my purchase. I highly recommend this is you are restoring an older car like I was.
