This is typically a great whistle. I ordered this 2nd one to have a spare. Unfortunately, when I was ready to use the new one, I discovered that the end with the pea whistle doesn't work. The small pea-like ball is in there, but it must be deformed or there's a problem with the chamber, as it catches and barely makes a sound. Not good when my dog is trained to respond to commands based on which end I use. I tried contacting the company through Amazon to do an exchange, not a return, and received no reply.

Great whistle. A lanyard would have made it 5 stars. Replaces the one my dog ate!
