Jacket looks great, however it is way too tight. I am returning it and ordering an extra large. This is going to be my fishing jacket.

1/15/25Although I'm no outdoor-gear reviewer, I know what I like, and I like this jacket. I paid about $30 for it, but I'd expect to pay at least $100 for something with this quality and attention to detail. It's heavier than I expected, because the shell is thicker than I expected. It appears to be very tough, although it makes some "swishing" noise. The fit is too close to wear much besides a long-sleeved shirt underneath. At first, the sleeves seemed too short, but now they seem fine. The sleeves have velcro closures, which I leave somewhat loose most of the time so that I don't have to loosen them to remove the jacket, since velcro wears out from excessive use.The lining is thin, but adequate for a light jacket. The collar just stands straight up, and the zipper goes all the way to the top, so that it can be adjusted to prevent much heat from escaping, and if it's not sufficient, you can put the hood up and adjust its drawstrings to pull it snug in front.The zipper has small teeth and is left-handed, and I'm right-handed, so it's a bit tricky to get started, but it's no big deal. It's made by YKK, and appears to be essentially the same as the right-handed plastic YKK zipper that's on my fleece parka. I used that zipper a lot, and it lasted for over a decade.My one quibble is that the pockets are lined with fleece and can't be pulled out for cleaning. You could use small nylon drawstring bags such as ASIN B0B1BS228Y as linings and clip their openings to the edges of the pocket openings using small binder clips. Velcro might work too. If you need to store items securely, you could use the inner pockets (2 large, 2 small).

Product was just what I wanted it for. Water repellent for rain but with a bit of a liner so its not just a piece of plastic. Used it in the rain at a baseball game. Kept me dry and no worries about the chill on the air.One additional point, the zipper works from the left side, rather than the standard right side. It's a little awkward and takes getting used to. To my knowledge that is how the zipper works fir female clothing so this is a bit confusing.

I wasn’t sure what expect with a jacket from Amazon but I hit the jackpot. This is a very clean looking, well made, comfy and functional jacket. I’m 5’8, 195 with a belly and it fits great.

Was looking for a daily coat that would work well for the cold rainy weather. There were a lot of choices, and came along this one while searching and took a bet on it!Took it out today for the first time, it was one of those cold wet days. And it kept me warm and dry!For the price, style and the quality, I definitely recommend it, and would buy another one for my dad!
