Good for price but decided not to do more testing on it. It can play loud but pretty quickly I can hear the housing shaking/rattling.Sounds rather brighter/lacking in bass but serviceable with bass control to boost it. Bass seem to drop off quickly so I question the listed frequency response range a little.

These are just right for desk. This replaced a set with a subwoofer that died. I'm no audiophile but these sound really good and are simple setup, no fuss no muss.

NICE speakers! First time ordered, they were shipped USPS. Got lost in the postal system. Asked and got a very quick refund from the company and ordered them again requesting AMAZON delivery. Took a few days longer then USPS promised but at least THEY CAME!!! Well worth the money, great sound!

These speakers are an incredible value. They sound like they are 3 or 4 times the price. The brackets are very nice and the thumbscrews allow for easy removal for winter storage. No they do not pound out the bass but if you adjust the tone settings on your amp the sound is more than acceptable.

Very quiet speakers. The only time I could hear these speakers was when there was no sound playing then the static from these speakers was louder than the rest of the system. I tried to use these as rear speakers and even after putting the rear channel on maximum gain they could not be heard. The only time I heard these speakers was when I turned the rest of the system off. Even then I had to turn it way up. The sound quality was also very poor.

I got what I paid for - and I didn't pay much. But for this application (ancient "portable stereo" with trashed speakers) it was better than trashing the whole unit.

At first glance upon receiving the speakers I wasn't very confident they would fit my expectations because they seemed too small to be able to put out a fair amount of sound, and I don't mean loud but able to fill the room without having to jack the volume up, which usually adds too much distortion to any speaker system. However after hooking everything up the way I was intending to use it I was amazed at the high quality of the output from very low volume to actually more volume than I would ever listen at. So the smaller size turned out to be a most welcome asset as the mounting( brackets are included! ) was much easier than I had planned on , I was able to mount them in a much more convenient place and the fit and finish on the units are are very nice. I would recommend these speakers to anyone and everyone who want quality sound and equipment
