It is plastic (acrylic) but is quite solid and durable. It is so easy to put together.When assembled, its profile is not any bigger than a letter sized paper in terms of space taken on the table. The door opening has a lock and comes with two keys. There is a sliding window to drop in the raffle tickets. It has more than enough opening space for the tickets so you can potentially use larger tickets. The window stays open via a magnet but missed the opportunity to add another magnet to keep it closed. The drum turns freely with barely any friction and while turning there is some noise and I think its the sliding window since it doesn't have a magnet to keep it stable. I'm not bothered about it though.It came with a roll of red tickets which claims to have 1000 pieces which is a great bonus.Overall, I think its a great buy and my wife use this at her job at the school where its a hit among small children.

This is a pretty good ticket tumbler. All the parts are well-made, it spins freely, a big roll of red tickets is included, and the magnetic closure on the ticket slot is a nice feature, but the instructions for putting it together aren't accurate. I received two different kinds of screws and nuts, but the ones pictured in the instructions were all the same. The instructions also give improper directions about when to attach the nuts to the screws. The nuts need to go on AFTER the screws are inserted, but the instructions indicate they should go on BEFORE, which doesn't hold anything in place. I figured it out, but they should really update their instruction manual to prevent confusion.

When our church has a tricky tray, there's always that one person who complains that the tickets aren't getting mixed up enough before the winner is pulled. So this year we're going to try using this. It'll be easy to dump each container of tickets into it, everyone can see them being tumbled to mix them and the winning ticket being pulled. Hopefully, this works better than the system we were using.

This transparent acrylic raffle drum is exactly what I needed for our recent event! The design is sleek and adds a touch of elegance while letting everyone see the tickets inside, which made the experience even more exciting. First the not so great. The directions were visual and not super explicit as to how to place the bolts during construction, but i got it figured out. The other thing I would do differently is the bolts which the barrel spin on seem to be longer than necessary. Since the ends are enclosed inside the barrel, it probably won't cause any issues, but if a ticket gets caught up in the works then it may not produce a fair raffle.Once constructed the barrel spins freely and easily with very little friction. The tickets are put inside through a narrow slot which slides open and is held open with a small magnet. The tickets are drawn through a hinged flap which is kept closed with a key operated lock, preventing tampering. The weight of the flap and lock pull that side to the bottom leaving the entry slot conveniently on the top.The entire product is looks great and performs well, and the negatives at the beginning of the review would not be deal breakers for me. The bonus inclusion of 1 roll of raffle tickets meant that I did not need to purchase a roll of tickets separately.

I am on the board of a small nonprofit. We have occasional events and often offer door prizes. We were using a large jar with a slot cut in the top to gather tickets, but this will be so much better!It was really easy to assemble and moves smoothly without excessive noise. The acrylic is crystal clear and a good thickness. The door locks are a nice feature and will help keep the tickets secure if we're conducting a raffle. It's also less likely that tickets will get lost.The tumbler is a decent size, but won't dominate a table or stand.I'm also looking forward to using it in my art show booths. I often will offer a prize drawing at the end of the show and all people to drop their business cards into a box. This will look so much more professional.I can recommend this for anyone that needs to be able to do drawings easily, while keeping entries secure.

The durability is amazing as is the see through acrylic design and at up is a Breeze. I love that it is see through acrylic design as that in itself ensures fairness for our customers!!!!

Yay! This thing is really cool. The opening for the hand is not big at all so my husbands hand couldn't fit inside other than that, great product.
