My opening between my studs was 24" x 24". This box has an inside dimension of 24 1/16" x 24 1/16", the outside dimension (the one that matters), is 24 5/16" x 24 5/16". They really should make it 1/2" smaller so that it can be fit nicely in the opening...I had to cut out sections of my studs to make this fit.

These commercial grade quality doors are hard to find in the big box stores!! Well worth the quality over the cheap plastic ones!!

Had raccoons in an inaccessible area of attic space. This door did the trick. Easy install over plaster, literally just glued in place with construction adhesive. Opens and closes well and provides plenty of room to get in and out for a moderate size person. A latch or toggle would be preferred over the flat head screw driver operated latch but works fine since access is only needed occasionally.

The door binds a bit as it closes in spite of my best efforts to insure it was square in the hole.Looks good and was otherwise quite easy to install in the roughed in hole.It was exactly what I was looking for in a good looking, reasonable priced crawlspace access hole cover.
