Looks far more expensive than it is. So sad it was too long and had to return it.

I am thoroughly happy with this coat. For me I ordered a 42R which is my suite size. I have seen some reviews that say they ordered a size larger or size smaller. I think my suit size fits just right for me. The coat is very well made. Very soft material. It came with its own hanger. Overall I’m very pleased.

Well made, warm and just the right length. A soft, luxurious blend of wool and cashmere. An excellent product and a reasonable cost. A winner!

This is a very nice coat. My husband is a large man, 6"2', 300+ lbs., so it was hard to find a coat that would fit him. I ordered a 54L, which was a little too big. We sent it back and ordered the 54, fit perfect. It is a heavy, lined coat, perfect for winter, when we go some place nice.

My coat arrived this afternoon 9/23/2015. It was ordered 9/14. So it took about 9 days from order to arrival in CT from CA. For anyone used to Amazon Prime shipping it may seem like a long time but this wasn't an emergency order for me. I ordered it ahead of the coming fall and winter seasons specifically so it wouldn't be a panic. As another reviewer said, the coat quality was my main concern and I wasn't disappointed.Very impressive! It checks the box on every one of my hopes for this coat. The Fabric - Nice feel. The wool / cashmere / nylon is soft, flexible, and not too thick / bulky. It's probably about 25% thinner and lighter than my my former Italian wool overcoat and much more comfortable to wear or carry. This is just what I was hoping for. My other coat is too warm 95% of the time. And the bulk can get annoying whether I'm wearing it or carrying it around all day. The thinner fabric makes it more flexible too, whether you're bending your arm with the coat on or trying to stuff it in the overhead bin on a plane. The fit - I'm 6'0" tall and weigh about 210 lbs with a muscular build. My chest measurement is 45" and I generally wear either a 44L or 46L suit jacket depending on the cut of the suit. My waist is 34" so, no beer belly. My sleeve length in a dress shirt is 34/35. I ordered this coat in 44L hoping that it would be true to size. The fit is perfect for me. Sleeve length is perfect for protecting a suit from rain and snow. Overall length is about 6-7" below my knees. I tried it on with a casual cotton blazer that is much thicker than a wool suit jacket and the fit was perfect across the chest and shoulders. Not too tight and not too loose. It should be really comfortable with a suit. So based on that, unless you're really heavy or really skinny, order your normal suit size and you should be fine. Order a Long if you're 6'0" or over, otherwise order a regular.Weatherproofing - It looks like it is indeed a proprietary technology that combines a fabric treatment and a barrier layer something like GoreTex that makes it windproof and waterproof while still allowing it to breathe. The little tag for Rain Defender also states that the weather proofing should last forever. So it is not just something sprayed on like Scotchguard. The Cut - This is purely subjective but this coat is more on the fitted side than the "classic fit" side. Meaning it doesn't look like you're wearing a shapeless trash bag. It's not super fitted like a skinny suit. But it's not baggy either. It hangs well and looks sharp on my frame. If you're sporting a beer belly you may want to order up a size or two or find another style of coat. Likewise, if you're skinny as a rail, you might want to look for a more fitted coat. The details - The lining looks to be a nice quality satin polyester in a sharp looking gold and gray stripe. It seems like a good choice for durability and cleaning. The outer pockets are semi vertical slashes which makes it very natural for sticking your hands in them on a cold day. My previous coat had horizontal pockets with a covering flap that made them pretty uncomfortable to use. This coat also has three generously sized internal pockets sewn into the lining.I paid $114 for this coat and it's easily worth 2 or 3 times that much in my opinion. And no, LOL, I have no connection whatsoever to the seller or the manufacturer.Highly reccommended!!!!!
